How to Delete Your Account
Warning: Deleting your account will permanently remove all your data. This cannot be undone.
You can now delete your account yourself in the app or website.
On Your Phone
- Tap your name initials in the top right corner
- Choose 'Account' from the menu
- Choose 'Security' from the next menu
- Find 'Request Account Deletion' button
- Tap 'Request Deletion'
- Confirm you want to delete your account
On Your Computer
- Click your name initials in the top right corner
- Choose 'Account' from the menu
- Choose 'Security' from the next menu
- Find 'Request Account Deletion' button
- Click 'Request Deletion'
- Confirm you want to delete your account
What Gets Deleted
When your account is deleted:
- All personal information is permanently removed
- You lose access to your account right away
- All your data is gone forever
- Data is removed from backup systems within 180 days
Still Need Help?
If you can't use the deletion button, you can email us:
Send an email to compliance@mywatchtower.app with:
- Subject: "Account Deletion Request"
- Your full name
- Your email address
- Your phone number (if you have one with us)
- Say clearly that you want to delete your account
Processing Time
- We will reply within 3 business days
- Account deletion finishes within 30 days
- You will get confirmation when it's done
What We Keep
We delete all your data unless we must keep some for:
- Legal rules
- Court cases
- Other legal reasons
Any kept data will be:
- Very limited
- Stored safely
- Kept only as long as required by law
- Used only for legal compliance
