How to Create a QR Code for Your Guest

Residents can easily create access QR codes in Watchtower using pre-existing guest, vendor, or resident profiles. QR codes for guests and vendors automatically match their profile validity.

1. Log in and Access the QR Code Section

  • Log in to your Watchtower Account.

  • Go to Property.

  • Select the QR Codes tab.

  • Click Create QR Code.


2. Select Who the QR Code Is For

Choose from:

  • Guest – QR validity matches the guest’s profile dates.

  • Vendor – QR validity matches the vendor’s access dates.

  • Resident


3. Choose QR Code Options

  • One-Time Use – Valid for a single scan.

  • Limited Uses – Set the number of allowed scans.

  • Unlimited Uses – No scan limit.


4. Create the QR Code

  • Click Create.

  • The QR code will appear under the QR Codes tab in Property.

5. View and Download the QR Code

  • Click the QR code to view it.

  • Click again to enlarge it.

  • Select Download to save the QR code image to your device.


6. Manage Existing QR Codes

  • Delete: Click the trash icon next to the QR code and confirm Delete to revoke access.
