The Vehicles tab is where you can add, edit, and remove vehicles registered to your property. This guide explains how to manage your vehicle list.
Getting to the Vehicles Tab
- Go to your Property page
- Click or tap the "Vehicles" tab
You'll see a list of all vehicles assigned to your property. Each vehicle shows the year, make, model, and license plate number.
Adding a New Vehicle
- Click or tap "Add Vehicle"
Fill in the vehicle information:
- Year (required)
- Make (required) – The manufacturer, like Toyota or Ford
- Model (required) – The specific model, like Camry or F-150
- Color (required)
- State (required) – The state where the vehicle is registered
- License Plate (required)
Optionally, link the vehicle to someone:
- Association Type – Choose to link this vehicle to a User, Resident, Guest, or Vendor
- If you select an association type, you'll choose the specific person from a list
- Click or tap "Create"
Editing a Vehicle
To edit a vehicle's information:
- Click or tap on the vehicle in the list
Update any of the following:
- Year
- Make
- Model
- Color
- State
- License Plate
- Click or tap "Save"
Deleting a Vehicle
To remove a vehicle from your property:
- Find the vehicle in your list
- Click or tap the trash can icon next to it
- Confirm the deletion
Once deleted, the vehicle will no longer be associated with your property.
Linking Vehicles to People
When you add or edit a vehicle, you can link it to someone on your property. This helps gate staff know who is driving which vehicle. You can link a vehicle to:
- User – Someone with a Watchtower account on your property
- Resident – Someone registered as a resident without a Watchtower account
- Guest – A visitor on your guest list
- Vendor – A service provider on your vendor list
Linking is optional, but it can help with entry verification at the gate.
Searching for Vehicles
Use the search box at the top of the Vehicles tab to quickly find a specific vehicle by make, model, or license plate.
