Managing Guests

Managing Guests

The Guests tab is where you can add, edit, and remove guests who are allowed to enter your community. This guide explains how to manage your guest list.

Getting to the Guests Tab

  1. Go to your Property page
  2. Click or tap the "Guests" tab

You'll see a list of all guests assigned to your property. Use the search box to quickly find a specific guest by name.

Understanding Guest Types

Guests can be either temporary or permanent:

Temporary Guests – Have access only during a specific date range. Once the end date passes, they can no longer enter. Temporary guests display an orange "TEMP" badge on desktop.

Permanent Guests – Have ongoing access with no end date. They can enter the community at any time. Permanent guests display a blue "PERM" badge on desktop.

Adding a New Guest

  1. Click or tap "Add Guest"
  2. Fill in the guest details:
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Permanent Guest – Check this box if the guest should have ongoing access
    • Entry Start Date – When the guest's access begins
    • Entry End Date – When the guest's access ends (not required for permanent guests)
    • Create QR Code for Guest – Check this box to generate a QR code (see below)
    • Associate Vehicle (optional) – Link a vehicle to this guest
  3. Click or tap "Submit"

Creating a QR Code for a Guest

When adding a guest, you can create a QR code they can use for easy entry at the gate. If you check "Create QR Code for Guest," you'll see options for how many times the code can be used:

One-time use – The QR code works for a single entry only.

Limited uses – The QR code works for a set number of entries that you choose.

Unlimited uses (within date range) – The QR code works for unlimited entries between the start and end dates.

Info
Some communities have QR codes turned off. If you don't see the QR code option, contact your community's management office for more information.
