The Notifications tab is where you control how Watchtower sends you alerts and updates. This guide explains your notification options and how to change them.
Watchtower offers three types of notifications:
Email notifications are enabled by default. When turned on, you'll receive emails about important activity at your property, such as guest entries.
To toggle email notifications:
Push notifications appear on your phone or tablet, even when you're not using the app. These are enabled by default.
To toggle push notifications:
INFO: For push notifications to work, you must have the Watchtower app installed on your device and allow notifications in your device settings. On iPhone, go to Settings > Watchtower > Notifications. On Android, go to Settings > Apps > Watchtower > Notifications.
SMS notifications would send text messages to your phone number.
INFO: SMS notifications cannot be enabled at this time. This feature may be available in the future.
