How to Turn on Two-Factor Authentication

What is Two-Factor Authentication?

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds extra safety to your account. When you log in, you'll need:

  • Your password
  • A special code from your phone

This keeps bad people out even if they know your password.

On Your Phone

  1. Tap the profile picture in the top right corner
  2. Choose 'Account' from the menu
  3. Find the 'Security' part
  4. Tap 'Enable 2FA'

On Your Computer

  1. Click the profile picture in the bottom left corner
  2. Find the 'Security' part
  3. Click 'Enable 2FA'

Why Use 2FA?

2FA makes your account much safer because:

  • Hackers can't get in with just your password
  • You'll know if someone tries to break in
  • Your personal information stays protected

What You Need

To use 2FA, you need:

  • A smartphone
  • An app like Google Authenticator or Authy
  • A few minutes to set it up
