How to Add Vendors in Watchtower

How to Add Vendors in Watchtower

Service providers such as landscapers, house cleaners or home‑health aides often need recurring access to your property. Watchtower allows you to register these vendors so gate attendants can verify them quickly and track their visits.

1 – Open the Vendors Tab

  1. Log in to
    mywatchtower.app
and select your property from the dashboard.

  2. Navigate to the Vendors tab. This tab lists all vendors currently authorized for your property.

2 – Add a New Vendor

  1. Click Add Vendor or New Vendor.

  2. Complete the vendor details:

    • Company/Individual Name – Use the vendor’s official business name or the person’s legal name. Accurate spelling ensures the guard can find them in Mission Control.

    • Start and End Dates – By default, Watchtower sets the vendor pass to one day. Adjust the end date to cover the period the vendor needs access (e.g., weekly service for six months). For ongoing vendors, choose a far‑future date or mark the entry as Permanent.

    • Notes – Provide any special instructions (e.g., “Uses back gate,” or “Requires vehicle access”).

  3. Click Save to add the vendor. The vendor will appear in your list with an Active status.

3 – Communicate with Your Vendor

Watchtower may send an email or SMS (if enabled) to the vendor with arrival details. You can also instruct vendors to show their ID at the gate. Ensure they know the community name and property address for quick admission.  The guard may request to scan the driver's identification.

4 – Managing Vendors

  • Editing – Use the Edit button to update names, contact information or dates.

  • Removing – If the vendor no longer requires access, click Delete to revoke their authorization.

  • Permanent Vendors – For long‑term service providers, select the Permanent option or set an end date far into the future so you don’t need to re‑enter them each visit.

By registering vendors ahead of time, you help gate attendants process arrivals smoothly while keeping a secure record of everyone who enters your property. Don’t forget to extend or adjust end dates when service agreements change.
